Newport Country Club is a private club. All golfers must be sponsored by a member of the club.

The use of cellular phones is permitted in motor vehicles but, except in the case of a medical emergency, is prohibited anywhere else on the Club property.

Appropriate golf attire is required throughout the grounds of the club and in the clubhouse.

Suitable golf attire for men and boys includes slacks or Bermuda shorts and a collared shirt. Blue jeans, cargo pants, “cut-offs” and athletic wear are considered unacceptable. All hats must be worn correctly.

Suitable golf attire for ladies and girls includes appropriate shirts, golf skirts, slacks or Bermuda or Jamaica shorts. Blue jeans, “cut-offs,” shorts of inappropriate length, and “sloganed” tee shirts, tank tops, and halter tops are considered unsuitable.

Metal spikes are prohibited.
